Release, Recoup, and Reorganize

Springtime is a natural period for cleansing, rebirth and rejuvenation. We see it all around us in Nature and feel it instinctively in ourselves.  Just as the caterpillar must retreat into his cocoon for this period of quiet resting before metamorphosing and emerging as a butterfly, so we must have the patience to quietly accept this period of “non-doing” to completely move forward into whatever new wonders and adventures await us down the road.

May I be blessed with the Faith, Freedom from Fear and Patience to truly make the most of this beautiful resting phase.

….a place to rest, wind down and relax following a period of extreme turmoil, particularly in the areas of financial security and relationships. This place can be of great blessing if we can muster the patience to appreciate the blessings of this place joyfully and gratefully and of course with great Faith in the wisdom and compassion of God and the Universe.

let go and let god

It is imperative that I take proper care of myself during this transition in all ways…spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally, without becoming anxious or fearful.

I have no idea where the path is heading or even if I will continue along the same path I am now on.  Perhaps big upheavals are in store, or perhaps little changes which will slowly lead me in a new direction.

My natural curiosity and impatience make this waiting difficult and I need assistance in curbing them.  It is an essential part of my daily prayer and meditation session now to request this assistance from God, the Angels and other Enlightened Beings and Ascended Masters.

doing nothing2

“Sometimes doing nothing is doing something very Important”.

It would be wonderful to be able to peek through the fence, so to speak, and get a sneak preview of what lies ahead.  At times we may be given gentle hints if we are extremely mindful along the way. But not always.  Patience, and Faith, once again are the things we need to pray for most during this period of quiet “being”.

As a flower peeks through the fence, we would also love a preview of what awaits us

As a flower peeks through the fence, we would also love a preview of what awaits us

The unknown always brings up fears and these also must be acknowledged and released.  It is all part of the cleansing process which is preparing us for whatever the next stage in our life holds in store for us.

May I be blessed with the Faith, Freedom from Fear and Patience to truly make the most of this beautiful resting phase.

With love light and JOY

HOMESICK…

Sites and Sounds of Tapovan Village, Rishikesh

India is not all noise and bustle. There are beautiful sounds and sights of Nature as well!

While walking up the mountain past the village, I was accompanied by rapids, and the beautiful music of the water was with me all the time. Other than the occasional bird-call, that was the only sound I heard most of the time. The sound of the water became progressively louder the higher up I walked, until it was the only thing I heard. And if I ventured off the main path for awhile, I was greeted with almost an eerie silence once the water sounds could no longer be heard.Make sure you watch until the end and see the lady bathing her buffalo!

…to enjoy great Indian food.

Just have to take the time to learn how to prepare it and then get busy in the kitchen. My lunch today…
Rajma, my all time favorite dahl, ginger garlic rice and butter chapatti. And of course the meal was ended with a delicious glass of steaming masala chai.

NOT in Rishikesh Today!

I Should have been writing today from Rishikesh, but, things change and I AM NOT IN INDIA!!

India 2008-2015

I should have been writing this post from my room in Rishikesh
INDIA MEMORIES

and wishing you shabbat shalom from there.

SHABBAT SHALOM

But as things have a way of happening in life, things don’t always happen as we plan them.  And this is usually a blessing, sometimes in disguise, very often immediately understood (as is the case today).  But that doesn’t make it any easier sitting in one place when you expected to be someplace else.  So to ease the situation, I’ve decided to at least enjoy the blessings of my memories and here are just of few of them from Rishikesh, Dharamsala, Varanassi, Haridwar….there are of course endless memories, and perhaps over the next couple of months this is what I will be posting here….

So, from Israel, I wish you all a Shabbat Shalom…much love light and JOY

GRATITUDE

Had a beautiful walk today….feeling grateful and blessed!

gratitude

I should have been flying into India tomorrow, but had to cancel my flight at the last minute. But life is beautiful and I am grateful for all things. I hope the person who bought my cancelled ticket at the last minute will enjoy India as much as I would have.

Much love light and JOY to all

Flowing Towards Dreams Fulfilled

This was posted five years ago on my mindfulness journal blog but it is extremely relevant and powerful at the moment as well. May we all have a year of truly listening!

Are We Really Hearing the Messages?

September 16, 2009

If you’ve been following this blog you know that praying, another way of saying “asking for help” always brings solutions, which start formulating themselves as soon as we’ve asked for them.  The problem is, they very often don’t fit our preconceived notions of how these solutions should come about or what form they should take.  Which is why expectations in any form are a “no-no” in the realm of manifestation.  We, as human beings, can never truly imagine in our wildest dreams all that is possible for us, and it is therefore counter-productive to limit God and the Universe and Divine wisdom.

The second problem is, very often we are given messages containing answers as to how to proceed, but we are either unaware of them, or not willing to accept them even if we do hear them.

And this is…
