Release, Recoup, and Reorganize

Springtime is a natural period for cleansing, rebirth and rejuvenation. We see it all around us in Nature and feel it instinctively in ourselves.  Just as the caterpillar must retreat into his cocoon for this period of quiet resting before metamorphosing and emerging as a butterfly, so we must have the patience to quietly accept this period of “non-doing” to completely move forward into whatever new wonders and adventures await us down the road.

May I be blessed with the Faith, Freedom from Fear and Patience to truly make the most of this beautiful resting phase.

….a place to rest, wind down and relax following a period of extreme turmoil, particularly in the areas of financial security and relationships. This place can be of great blessing if we can muster the patience to appreciate the blessings of this place joyfully and gratefully and of course with great Faith in the wisdom and compassion of God and the Universe.

let go and let god

It is imperative that I take proper care of myself during this transition in all ways…spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally, without becoming anxious or fearful.

I have no idea where the path is heading or even if I will continue along the same path I am now on.  Perhaps big upheavals are in store, or perhaps little changes which will slowly lead me in a new direction.

My natural curiosity and impatience make this waiting difficult and I need assistance in curbing them.  It is an essential part of my daily prayer and meditation session now to request this assistance from God, the Angels and other Enlightened Beings and Ascended Masters.

doing nothing2

“Sometimes doing nothing is doing something very Important”.

It would be wonderful to be able to peek through the fence, so to speak, and get a sneak preview of what lies ahead.  At times we may be given gentle hints if we are extremely mindful along the way. But not always.  Patience, and Faith, once again are the things we need to pray for most during this period of quiet “being”.

As a flower peeks through the fence, we would also love a preview of what awaits us

As a flower peeks through the fence, we would also love a preview of what awaits us

The unknown always brings up fears and these also must be acknowledged and released.  It is all part of the cleansing process which is preparing us for whatever the next stage in our life holds in store for us.

May I be blessed with the Faith, Freedom from Fear and Patience to truly make the most of this beautiful resting phase.

With love light and JOY

I found a job!!  I’ve been needing to get back into the work force for some time now.  Retirement is a wonderful blessing, but my financial plans were not working out as expected and I need additional income to stay independent.  Been thinking about how to do this for some time….and then this week, for reasons which will soon become clear below, I had to cancel my ticket to India for this year.  And just five minutes later, I was offered a job!!

One door ALWAYS opens when another is closed!  It’s as simple as that.

Here is my post from my India Journal blog which will explain the rest.

Today I cancelled my ticket for this years trip to India.  It was something I knew I had to do for some time but kept putting it off.  I am truly heartsick at the thought of not “coming home” to Ma Ganga for another full year, but at the same time, realize that this too is a blessing in disguise.

Although truly sad and disappointed at the moment, I’m sure this is a blessing in disguise and I remain grateful to God and joyful and accepting of all things! !

Just to clarify, I had scheduled long overdue cataract surgery for April, upon my return from India.  But the condition has worsened to the point where I can barely see out of my right eye, and the left is getting worse by the day.  So no choice.  Must be taken care of.

I know that something wonderful is waiting for me and will simply continue to enjoy each and every day to the fullest, in full acceptance joy, gratitude, Faith and Freedom from Fear. Despite the momentary disappointment and sadness, Life is definitely beautiful and full of wonderful surprises!

much love light and JOY

The blessings of renewal, rebirth and rejuvenation in cyclical change

fall leaves city street.jpg.jpeg

A colorful, exquisite, collective reminder of the impermanence of all things, of the necessity of never-ending change in the life of all living things…a gentle and loving reminder of the cycle of life and the exquisite beauty of, and Natural need for endings, which make rebirth and renewal possible. The inevitability of change which cannot be fought, which must be accepted as the blessing it is.

leaves.jpg.jpeg

The leaves are a reminder of the precious blessings in each moment. Each with its own story and individual and unique beauty as it reaches the end of its cycle, making way for new and continued Natural beauty and creation.

wpid-20141017_0936472.jpg.jpeg

I have been away for some time now, also due to cyclical life changes, which we must accept without fighting them…we cannot control these life changes and upheavals, and resisting them can only lead to pain, frustration, anger and a feeling of helplessness.

wpid-20141017_0935182.jpg.jpeg wpid-20141017_0935552.jpg.jpeg wpid-20141017_0935392.jpg.jpeg wpid-20141017_0935322.jpg.jpeg wpid-20141017_0934222.jpg.jpeg

Accepting all things as a blessing, with joy, gratitude, Faith and Freedom from Fear, makes moving through these changes much easier.  And when we look back at them, we may even understand why they happened!  The present is all we have.  And the present, following life’s upheavals, is a whole new blessing, whch may have been disguised but finally does reveal itself if we are mindful enough to appreciate it.

I AM so truly blessed-and happy to be back!

…EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT JEWISH!  🙂

SHANA TOVA HAPPY NEW YEAR

As always, my prayers are with all of you and as the Jewish New Year approaches, this is a good time to contemplate (and you don’t have to be Jewish to use the opportunity) where you were last year at this time, where you are today, how you feel about your “today” and how much of what you dreamed of last year you have succeeded in manifesting into reality !!

I leave you with my blessings for another wonderful year, and of course with the following food for thought:

Cultivating Faith is no different than cultivating a garden. The more time you spend on it,the more beautifully it will grow and bring you joy. You must weed it continually, and the weeds in the garden of Faith are fear and doubt. The water and fertilizer which allow it grow are prayer, meditation and…more than anything else, gratitude.

flowers along the way

…a few quiet moments to restore balance and harmony in these difficult times
wpid-20140728_193042-1.jpg

Those of you who follow me on Facebook may have read my post from the beginning of the week where I wrote “Feeling Hopeful and Optimistic”.  It actually seemed to me that things were heading to an end and sanity would be restored.

It seemed like the idea of “quiet being answered by quiet” would work, and then we would just have to finish the work of finding and destroying as many of the tunnels as possible That at last the deaths and casualties of innocent civilians and the destruction would cease on both sides. And hopefully while working on the tunnels, as few soldiers as possible would be injured or killed…was I really so naive? or just being honestly, innocently and truly optimistic?

After all, we’ve destroyed lots of rockets, and how many could they have left anyway? And once they could no longer throw death and destruction at us, we, of course, would no longer have reason for “disproportional” response. And then, just the tunnels, just the tunnels, just the tunnels to deal with.

So why does it continue and continue and continue? Could I really be so naive and innocent and ridiculously “hopeful and optimistic”?

Is there truly no end in sight to this continued conflict? These continued wars?

Will we eternally have to fight this enemy that so desperately wants to be rid of as that it would sacrifice its own children relentlessly and savagely to that cause? And will our own children who are now soldiers continue to die defending us? Will the children living through all this grow up  in a world of continued war and hatred?

How do we end this? How do we return to harmony, sanity, peace, permanently? And not just for a few precious moments every now and then during respites in the fighting and killing, or those precious few moments out in Nature?

wpid-20140728_190218.jpg

Are WE doing something wrong? Should we be using more force? Less force? Or is it just a loose-loose situation? Could it really be that there IS no peaceful solution? I refuse to imagine that that is so. But if, as they say, they truly “live” to see the end of Israel, and Jews everywhere, then the battle to survive is eternal for us?

It is now 5 AM. My mind is in a whirl, despairing thoughts going round and round, thoughts I don’t want to be thinking, but have no choice…I will continue to strive to maintain my own focus on Faith, Freedom from Fear, Peace, Sanity, Love, Optimism, Harmony

…but how long can I continue to feel “hopeful and optimistic” without feeling “foolish”?

…and as they say in Facebook statuses:  “feeling annoyed, confused, desperate, frustrated, angry, pained, pissed, threatened, heartbroken, discouraged, perplexed.”

May God bless us with Peace!

Like riding in an ambulance for the first time? Being wheeled into and out of strange mechanical devices that blink and whir? Eating” new” food? Sleeping in a bed you can move up and down with a lever? Receiving magical potions which relieve pain instantly? Ooohhhh….how exciting! What an adventure! So grateful for the opportunity to experience all these new things! 🙂

Might sound like I’m being sarcastic but this was indeed an important lesson in gratitude

Just for today I will experience all things in complete joy, gratitude, acceptance, Faith and Freedom from Fear

With love light and joy

Message from My Morning Meditation
laxman waterfall04

The photos in this post are all roads which I have walked in India. There were of course many more.

DSC04570

My life is a twisted turning road and I never know what awaits me around the next bend. But I travel this road in complete Freedom from Fear for I know without a doubt, with complete Faith in God and His loving Universe, that another wonderful exciting and beautiful surprise is waiting for me once I get around the curve.

IMG_1243
It may be a sharp and unexpected turn and I will have to navigate it carefully and slowly, but once I get past it, a whole new and wonderful vista appears before me once again.

I am truly blessed to have found this road of liberation and joy and love. God is the engineer and Master builder and administrator of this road, and He has graciously given me, and everyone, free access to it. We just have to be willing to take the first step into the unknown with Freedom from Fear, and complete acceptance and Faith in what lies ahead.
